It’s the Super Bowl of Wrestling. The Showcase of the Immortals. It’s finally here – WrestleMania 39. We’re about to break down the matches that’s the most interesting this weekend.

WrestleMania Saturday

The lineup for Night One…

United States Championship: Austin Theory(c) vs. John Cena

Austin Theory has gone from the guy you don’t want to see on your TV to a legitimate heel that you want to see get his a$$ kicked. His matches with Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley over the last year helped elevate him and his US Title run has been good. He’s the arrogant yet paranoid heel who wants to show anyone & everyone that he’s the now. He can take one step closer in taking out the ultimate babyface in John Cena. It’s the case of the hotshot, young heel who wants to make a name for himself by conquering one of the most beloved babyfaces in history.

Who wins: Austin Theory retains the US Championship

Rey Mysterio vs. Dominik Mysterio

One could argue the hottest storyline outside of the Bloodline is this one. The father-son dynamic of Rey and Dominik will come to a head when Dominik gets his wish to wrestle his own father on the grandest stage of them all. Dom has made Rey’s life a living hell for the better part of a year since he turned on his father at Clash at the Castle. With Rhea Ripley & The Judgement Day in his ear, Dominik has grown to become the slimy rat of a heel who needs his comeuppance. Rey will seek to teach his son a lesson and give him the act right everyone knows he deserves.

Who wins: Dominik Mysterio… but Rey stands tall at the end.

Lita, Trish Stratus & Becky Lynch vs. Damage CTRL

These six ladies will put on a good show but this is a storyline that needs to come to an end. Damage CTRL sought to take over the women’s division but have been largely unsuccessful due to their inability to topple two of its top stars in Bianca Belair & Becky Lynch. Now their ire turns to two Hall of Famers in Trish and Lita especially after Lita & Becky knocked off IO Sky & Dakota Kai for the Women’s Tag Team championships. Seeds of dissension have been planted between both sides and it could all come to a head at WrestleMania.

Who wins: Lita, Trish Stratus & Becky Lynch

SmackDown Women’s Championship: Charlotte Flair(c) vs. Rhea Ripley

Whether or not you think this match should main event Night One is irrelevant. These two women are going to put on a show. This is a story of revenge for Rhea that’s 3 years in the making. Rhea lost her NXT Championship to Charlotte at WrestleMania 36 and that loss was not forgotten. Since joining The Judgement Day, Rhea has become the leader of the group and a bonafide star. She won the Women’s Royal Rumble in January and chose Charlotte as her opponent. Charlotte would love nothing more than to prove to Rhea that their match at WrestleMania 36 was no fluke.

Who wins: Rhea Ripley wins the SmackDown Women’s Championship

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championship: The Usos(c) vs. Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens

Since aligning themselves with The Tribal Chief Roman Reigns, The Usos have become the most dominant tag team in history. Their 621+ day reign of terror has left them feeling invincible. As part of the most dominant faction in the industry, Jimmy & Jey Uso have had a stranglehold on the tag team division. That all may come to an end now that Zayn & Owens have reunited. For months, Kevin Owens had tried to get through to Sami Zayn that he was being used by The Bloodline and it all came to a head at The Royal Rumble. The Bloodline beat Kevin Owens to a pulp and Zayn had one last chance to prove his loyalty to Roman Reigns by taking out Owens. Zayn made his choice by hitting Roman Reigns in the back with a chair. Since that moment Sami Zayn has made it his mission to end The Bloodline. That all starts with taking out the tag champs.

Who wins: Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships

WrestleMania Sunday

Night Two lineup…

Hell In A Cell Match: Edge vs. Finn Bàlor

The feud between Edge and The Judgement Day has been a nearly year long story that all comes to an end inside Hell In A Cell. Edge has asked not for Finn Bàlor but rather The Demon Finn Bàlor. He will get his wish as Finn reminded Edge that The Demon never disappeared. He’s been with Finn the whole time. You can expect plenty of high risk moments that will test both men’s bodies and resolves. An extra touch will the return of the OG HIAC structure. That alone earns it 5 stars.

Who wins: Edge wins.

RAW Women’s Championship: Bianca Belair(c) vs. Asuka

When Bianca Belair steps into the ring to defend her title against Asuka, it will mark exactly 365 days Bianca has held the RAW Women’s title. It will be the longest reign by a black WWE Superstar – male or female. Bianca has established herself as THE star of the women’s division and one of the faces of WWE. She has literally conquered the entire RAW division with the exception of one woman – Asuka. Asuka made her return this January and won the Elimination Chamber match to set up this must see match. The problem has been creative – they’ve put ZERO effort into making this match a marquee bout. Good thing both of these women know how to put on great performances.

Who wins: Asuka wins the RAW Women’s Championship

Intercontinental Championship: Gunther(c) vs. Sheamus vs. Drew McIntyre

Gunther is a star in the making. His show stealing performance in this year’s Men’s Royal Rumble match put him in the spotlight. His run as the Intercontinental Champion has felt important and established the title back to its former glory(now if WWE could only bring back the classic IC Title belt). There’s intrigue with this match as Gunther wants to continue his dominant reign, McIntyre is looking to win his 2nd IC title and Sheamus is looking for the one title that has eluded him. A win for Sheamus would make him just the 16th person to be a Grand Slam champion.

Who wins: Gunther retains the Intercontinental Championship

Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns(c) vs. Cody Rhodes

For 944+ days, The Tribal Chief has made WWE his personal island of relevancy and over that 2.5 year reign he has made everyone acknowledge him. With the rest of The Bloodline by his side, Roman has been unstoppable. Now a new threat has emerged to finally bring down his empire. Cody Rhodes returned to WWE after a 7 year absence to win the one title that eluded his entire family – the WWE championship. That dream was derailed when he tore his pectoral muscle clean off the bone but he returned & won this year’s Royal Rumble. Now Rhodes has aligned himself with Sami Zayn to put an end to The Bloodline once and for all. Will Rhodes finally be the one to dethrone The Tribal Chief or will Roman make Rhodes do what all others have been forced to do – acknowledge him.

Who wins: Cody Rhodes wins the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship
