The date – July 17, 2011. The place – Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL. The event – WWE’s Money in the Bank PPV.

The main event of that PPV was WWE Champion John Cena defending against hometown hero CM Punk. What made this main event so important was this was CM Punk’s last day of his WWE contract and he vowed to walk out of WWE with the company’s top prize.

The match is widely considered the greatest MITB match in the history of the PPV. It was a 5-star classic and saw Punk & Cena at their absolute best.
