US President Joe Biden was caught on video tripping up the stairs while boarding Air Force One yesterday. The video went viral quickly and caused some to question the President’s age & ability to hold the office. I viewed it simply as Uncle Joe having a moment. Memo to the President: walk, don’t run. You don’t have anything to prove to anyone. Take your time. You’re the President of the United States. They can wait for you.
I’m also amused that the same people who are saying Joe Biden is unfit for the office had no problem with the former occupant of the White House and his frequent lies & incoherence. It was a trip, people.
Nobody Wins When The Family Feuds
Gospel singer Kirk Franklin’s family became a hot topic subject when his son Kerrion released a verbal altercation between him & Kirk to social media. The altercation was filled with profanity and soon after that everyone had think pieces about it. Kirk & his wife Tammy went on Tamron Hall’s show to discuss the matter:
This family feud should be no one’s business except for the Franklin family. People who are writing think pieces across social media without knowledge to Kirk & Kerrion’s situation are moronic. People who are trying to cancel Kirk Franklin are ridiculously stupid and people who are trying to cancel Christianity because Kirk had that heated discussion are equally brainless.
Kirk Franklin throughout his entire career has stated that he is a flawed human being. He has never professed to be holier than thou. This is a family matter that should’ve stayed quiet.
No one knows what’s going on in that family so no one should be judging Kirk… or Kerrion. All I will say is that it was wrong for the argument to get to that point and it was equally wrong to have it released on social media to damage Kirk’s career.
I hope everyone involved can find healing because nobody wins when the family feuds.
Final Thoughts
- The NCAA Tournament has started and there was plenty of controversy over the workout spaces for the women & men. While the men had a full workout center at one of the venues the women literally had a row of dumbbells… and that was it. The NCAA came under fire for this as they should. The women work just as hard as the men do and deserve the same conditions as the men.
- It was reported earlier this week that Chicago native & rapper Kanye West was worth $6.6 billion largely thanks to his deal with shoe company Adidas. Well, it seems as though the numbers weren’t exactly accurate. Regardless of what his net worth is, West is also embroiled in a divorce battle with Kim Kardashian. Here’s hoping Kanye will be ok during this time.
- President Biden spoke in Atlanta amid the recent killings of 8 Asian-Americans in Atlanta spas. The President made clear that hate & violence toward people of different races must be condemned. There has been a sharp uptick in violence against Asian-Americans ever since the former occupant of the presidency referred to the Coronavirus as the “China virus”. - Georgia Senator Ralph Warnock gave his first speech as a US Senator and he used his time to speak on the GOP’s attempts to strip away voting rights. It was a powerful speech. Take a listen:
- Finally, FOX News host & Trump mistress Sean Hannity was caught on camera vaping coming back from a commercial break. It was a funny moment caught on video and Hannity, glasses crooked and hair slightly disheveled, was clearly embarrassed and Twitter was quick to react:
